Abstract

|
Conventional neuroleptic treatment of organic delusional disorder can induce many serious side effects including extrapyramidal symptoms, sedation ond tardive dyskinesia, especially in elderly patients. Risperidone is an alypical neuroleptics
that
is
lack of severe extrapyramidal symptoms. This 68-year-old male case demonstrated that elderly patients with organic delusional disorder could be treated with risperidone without serious side effects.
